Why Dynatrace is a Leader?

GigaOm 2024 Radar for Cloud Observability

GigaOm recently released its 2024 Radar Report for Cloud Observability, which includes 21 observability solution providers and analyzes each on their current and emerging features. The report offers a better understanding of the observability landscape.
The analysis centers on the following key focus areas:
● Dashboards and reporting● User interaction performance monitoring● Multicloud functionality● Large language model (LLM) support● Pushing and tagging data● Predictive analysis● Edge observability● Identification of ghost changes● Ease of deployment● Ease of use● Agility● Ecosystem● Security● Cost
Additionally, the report covers a range of market segments and deployment models, including the following:
● Small and medium-sized businesses● Large enterprises● Cloud service providers● Software as a service (SaaS)● On-premises● Hybrid
While the analysis is quite thorough, it’s important to highlight the following graphic before diving into the broader results:

Companies moving from monitoring to observability to intelligence is a common trend. But when navigating this process, one of the biggest challenges facing enterprises is having too many tools. According to Dynatrace research, on average, companies have 10 different monitoring tools. Additionally, these heterogeneous point solutions limit companies’ ability to move along in their maturity journey.
Choosing the right observability solution is critical to success in this model. For example, suppose a company has standardized on a suite of disparate tools to monitor its infrastructure and apps. The challenge then becomes figuring out how the company can get an accurate end-to-end view, which is required to deliver modern observability intelligence. With the Dynatrace platform, which report author Ron Williams describes as “an all-in-one observability, security, analytics, and automation platform for cloud-native, hybrid, and multicloud environments,” all your data is stored in one massively scalable data lakehouse. This enables companies to ingest, analyze, and retain massive quantities of data with powerful analytics and AI-powered answers.
The culmination of the research is in the Radar:

Dynatrace is positioned as a leader in the Radar, thanks to our leadership in many critical categories. One of the most exciting areas is the report’s acknowledgement of our AI leadership. GigaOm rated Dynatrace as exceptional for predictive analytics and superior for LLM and multicloud support. Both of these are critical as companies modernize to intelligence. In contrast, traditional correlation models can’t keep up with the complexity and exploding volume of telemetry data.
In summary, the GigaOm Radar Report for Cloud Observability solutions offers great insight for all observability leaders, and I am proud that Dynatrace was positioned as a Leader. The following quote summarizes it well:
The AI-powered (Dynatrace) platform empowers countless use cases, providing true visibility into hybrid and multicloud environments. Dynatrace is a compelling choice for enterprises seeking rapid improvements in their cloud observability.”
